Fairford Fury Basketball club

The Fairford Fury basket ball team is now in it’s second year and is going from strength to strength. Formed in 2005 by Roger West to provide all age groups a means of learning basketball and keeping fit, it now has two active age groups, those under 14 and those over 14 (and then some!)

Roger has recently been joined by another fully qualified coach, ex-international player John Lyons which has enabled the club to expand and we are currently looking for new members.

If you are aged between 5 and 65 why not come and join us? We play every Friday evening at 7pm in the Fairford Sports Centre. No need to book, just turn up and we’ll organise training and teams based on the age and skill level of those present.

News

After the junior team successfully competed in last years "Gloucestershire Under 16 Basketball Development Tournament" the adult team are now looking to play competitively as well. To get them match fit they have challenged the PE teachers at Farmors School, Fairford. If the challenge is accepted expect to see a match report soon.
